Biography
   

Andrey Yanev

Born: Bourgas - Bulgaria
1986 -1992 Studies in The National Academy of Fine Arts in Sofia and presently specializes in the decorative Large-Scale Art Department.

1991 - Vera Mouhina Academy of Arts, St. Petersburg, Russia-specialization in art enamel in the class of Prof. Talaschuk.

1992 - 2005 over twenty-five solo exhibitions in Sofia, Varna, Albena, Plovdiv, Bourgas, Slovenia Greece and Poland.
Participation in all general Fine art exhibitions in the country since 1984 and in international exhibitions in the United States, Italy, Germany, Belgium, Croatia, Austria, Slovenia and Korea.

Participation in international plain- airs: Balchik; Kavarna; Melnik; Vetren; Rusalka; Diuni - Bulgaria, island Uglan, island Dugi otok and island Pag - Croatia.
Participation in international forum "Art and business" - INART , Plovdiv 2000 - Bulgaria.

Some of his works are owned by: The National Art Gallery in Sofia, State Art Gallery Sofia, Kavarna State Gallery, Chimimport ltd., Sofia, and in private collections in Sweden, Greece, Great Britain, Germany, Slovakia, USA, Japan, Peru, Austria, Korea, Croatia and Bulgaria.

1990 Winner, in collaboration with P. Savov, To Improve Town Aesthetics: Idea 90, Sofia (the project was realized)
1989 Winner, To Improve Town Aesthetics: Idea89, Sofia (project was realized)

1992 - 2005 monumental stained glass projects, glass - mosaics, frescoes, enamel panels in public buildings and private homes in the towns of Bourgas, Kazanlak, Plovdiv, Lom, Varna, Sofia and the island of Santorini, Greece.
Works and lives in Sofia.
Member of the Bulgarian Artists' Union.
